Campbell Library

The time is now to update the Campbell Library. As a Civic Improvement Commissioner, Anne hears monthly reports from the Campbell Library. Anne wants to make sure that library services are available to all. The Campbell Library is in immediate need of a major renovation. With the current state of the facility, they are unable to provide the level of service that the community requires and the costly repairs are diverting funds away from offering programs and services to the Campbell residents.

The Campbell Library receives approximately 1000 visitors a day. The library provides additional educational support for all Campbell Union School District students. The library is a single source for critical services. Early literacy is key to student success.

There are facility limitations that need to be addressed. The roof is at the end of its life. There are major plumbing repairs needed. The electrical wiring needs a complete overhaul. There are limitations to the electrical wiring that cannot expand patron power sources for electronic device charging. Circuits are old, easily tripped, and the data closet is maxed out.

The library is the gathering place of our community and its services are invaluable.
